Report  Kaleem Butt : HYDERABAD: The 44 common training officers of Civil Services Academy Lahore visited the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI). On that occasion the Senior Vice President of HCCI Turab Ali Khawaja welcoming the guests said that HCCI is playing role of bridge between traders community and government, Hyderabad is the second largest city and commercial hub of Sindh and the city has cultural as well as historic importance. He said that Hyderabad has progressed in the light energy section and 40% two wheeler and three wheeler vehicles of the country are assembled in Hyderabad, apart from that finest cloth is being produced in power lome sector. The raids conducted by factory and FBR officers is damaging the moral of the traders, FBR should reduce powers of its officers, due to confusing rules of FBR, more than 5 lakh people are not filing annual tax returns and now only 10 lakh people are filing tax returns annually. The former vice president of HCCI Ziauddin said that developing countries are investing in SME, though institute for SME but there is lack of policies, due to which this sector is facing hurdles in its progress. On that occasion Additional Director Civil Services Academy Mohammad Ali Afzal, Abdul Qayoom Nusrat and others were also present. 02
