Army Chief shakes hand with the owner of Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi.

Report  Web desk : LAHORE: The owner of Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, along with its players met the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday. Army Chief congratulated team Zalmi on their victory in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017. Peshawar Zalmi, led by Darren Sammy, had defeated Sarfraz Ahmed s Quetta Gladiators in the exciting contest that took place in Lahore. ISPR DG Major General Asif Ghafoor was also present during the meeting. He tweeted about the incident, "We r soldiers of Pak & stand with Pak Army in promoting peace & national harmony. Ack sacrifices by Army for bringing peace and stability". Peshawar Zalmi met COAS. Pak peace/sports loving cty. Cricket Pak s most favourite sport,unites nation.
