Angelina Jolie to teach course at LSE this winter
Report Web desk : Angelina Jolie the famed actress who is also known for her work for humanitarian causes – has added another feather to her cap after a Tuesday morning lecture at the London School of Economics (LSE) as the Visiting Professor in Practice. The Academy Award-winning star is set to teach a course this September at LSE’s Centre for Women Peace and Security, which she co-launched with British politician William Hague on February 10, 2015. Alana Foster, who was present during Jolie’s lecture, posted a picture on her Instagram account. With regard to the programme Jolie will teach this winter, the student explained that it is “a really small course, (with) about five classes and one lecture a week.” On the latest development, Christine Chinkin, FBA – the Centre’s director and a law professor – stated that learning “directly from the valuable insights, perspectives, and experiences that Angelina Jolie, UN Special Envoy and Visiting Professor in Practice” is of great value for the students.
