Supreme Court suspends SHC decision over alcohol ban

Report  Web desk : ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan has on Monday suspended Sindh High Court (SHC) decision regarding ban on alcohol in the province. According to the details, Supreme Court has directed to implement 1979 law and act accordingly. Furthermore, SC has instructed to put the case in front of three-member bench for further proceedings. Earlier, SHC had ordered to close bars selling alcohol across the province and banned 120 liquor vendors. (01)
