Met office predicts new spell of rain

Report  Web desk : ISLAMABAD: A three-day rain spell in different parts of the country is likely to begin tonight. Director General Met Office Dr. Ghulam Rasool, in an interview with private channel said rain-dust and thunderstorm associated with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. He said isolated places in DG Khan, Multan, Sahiwal, Quetta, Zhob divisions may also be affected. Meanwhile, hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country. Dr Ghulam Rasool said that heavy falls are also expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions and Kashmir, while hailstorm is likely in Islamabad, upper Punjab, upper KP and Kashmir. (01)
