Report  Web desk : TRELAWNY: West Indies President XI made Pakistan toil in the tour match before the game ended in a draw. Pakistan batting and bowling could not perform up to the mark as West Indies President XI hammered them in both departments in three-day match played at Trelawny Stadium, Jamaica. The hosts put up a gigantic total of 419 runs after winning the toss and electing to bat first. Vishaul Singh remained unbeaten on 135 and Shimron Hetmyer scored 97 runs. From Pakistan, Mohammad Amir picked up three wickets after hard labor. Asad Shafiq and Yasir Shah sent two batsmen to the pavilion, whereas, Hasan Ali and Mohammad Asghar dismissed one batsman apiece. Chasing down a big total, Pakistan batting lineup stumbled and kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Shan Masood was the first one to go down after scoring 14 runs. Azhar Ali, Younis Khan and skipper Misbah-ul-Haq could not enter the double figures as they were dismissed on the scores of 4, 7 and 8 respectively. Ahmed Shehzad remained top scorer for Pakistan with 55 runs. Sarfraz Ahmed registered 50 and Asad Shafiq 23. Pakistan had to declare their innings on 192 for the loss of nine wickets as fast bowler Hasan Ali suffered groin injury while he was fielding during the 1st innings, and could not come out to bat. West Indies President XI once again gave tough time to Pakistan bowlers in second innings. The Windies had scored 152 runs for the loss of two wickets when the match ended in a draw. Kieran Powell remained unbeaten on 84 and was accompanied by Shamarh Brooks (21) at the crease. Kyle Hope (21) was dismissed by Mohammad Asghar and Shimron Hetmyer (22) was picked up by Yasir Shah. 02
