Panama case: SC announces Judgment, 3-2 verdict, orders to form JIT

Report  Web desk : ISLAMABAD: The five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court announcing the judgment over the Panamagate case ordered formation of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to probe the allegations levelled in the Panamagate case by PTI, Jamaat-e-Islami, Shaikh Rasheed, and others. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his sons Hassan and hussain are being ordered to appear before the JIT. The judgment was written by Justice Ijaz Afzal. The judgment is spread over 540-pages andit was read Justice Asif Saeed Khosa. The five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa and comprising Justice Ijaz Afzal, Justice Gulzar Ahmad, Justice Sheikh Azmat and Justice Ijazul Hasan as members heard the case.
