Report  Bisma Waseem : SUKKUR: A large number of people of Sukkur were protested against unscheduled and prolong electricity loadshedding, on Sunday. According to the details, protest held at Clock Tower Sukkur by the Citizen Welfare Organization (CWO) and Sukkur Civil Society (SCS) in the leadership of Syed Imran Ali Shah, Ashfaq Bhatti and Mufti Azam Mahar. The protesters demonstrated that long load shedding have made them mental patients. They took off their shirts and took up fans in hands. They chanted slogans against the federal minister Abid Sher Ali and kept throwing water on their bodies. While addressing the protesters, the speakers said that the federal government is violating the communities of Sindh Province by eighteen hours of unannounced load-shedding, due to which the people are becoming emotionally deprived. They said that Federal minister of water and electricity Abid Sher Ali is stealing the electricity of Sindh Province and provided to the people of Punjab for showing them good performance of the government and pleasing them for the sake of votes. Protesters said that in spite of the daily protest against prolonged load-shedding, the load-shedding is increasing day by day in the name of power theft. They demanded Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan and PM Nawaz Sharif to take immediate notice of prolong electricity load shedding and issue orders to supply electricity to people of Sindh otherwise the circle of protest will be expanded.
