PPP workers protest against Houbara hunting in Chagai

Report  Web desk : Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) activists protested againt Hobara hunting in Chagai, on Sunday. As per details, protesters blocked the Quetta Taftan National Highway to protest the hunting excursions of Arab Shieks in Balochistan. The blockade of the road caused huge traffic jams at the National Highway and passengers faced troubles owing to intense cold weather. The protestors ended their protest after an hour and the traffic resumed. Addressing to the protesting workers, the party leaders said that Prime Minister and Federal Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch have promoted their own interests by granting license to the Arab Shiekhs for rare bird Houbara in Balochistan. They said that the decision of the federal government did not go well with the masses, adding that the Shiekhs have also destroyed the standing crops of the local people. They threatened if the license of hunting were not cancelled, PPP would continue its strike infinitely.
