Raza Rabani questions appointment of Raheel Sharif as head Islamic Allied Forces

Report  Web desk : The chairman senate has asked the government to clear the stance over the appointment of former military chief Raheel Sharif as Islamic Allied forces head. The appointment of ex army chief General (R) Raheel Sharif as head of Islamic Alied Forces, which was confirmed by defence minister Asif Khawaja on Friday, came under discussion in senate and the chairman senate Raza Rabbani has questioned government over the issue. What Are the rules of appointment of former army chief appointment abroad? he asked the government adding that it was most significant issue and government must inform either Raheel Sharif got the NOC or not. In his reply, The defence minister Asif Khawaja said he has not much details of the issue and needed some time, would inform the senate in next session on Wednesday. On the reply of the defence minister chairman senate has given him time till Wednesday.
