Pak now sets sights on direct qualification for the ICC World Cup

Report  Web desk : International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday has expressed the apprehension that Pakistan is in serious danger of failing to qualify directly for the ICC World Cup 2019 in the UK. In a press released issued today, ICC said Pakistan currently sits on eighth position in the ODI Team Rankings with 89 points two behind Bangladesh and two ahead of the West Indies. However Pakistan sets its sights on direct qualification for the World Cup 2019 when it takes on Australia in a five-ODI series starting in Brisbane on Friday. Pakistan is presently in serious danger of failing to qualify directly for the ICC’s pinnacle 50-over tournament in the United Kingdom as it is sitting in eighth position on 89 points two behind Bangladesh and two ahead of the West Indies.
