Report  Web desk : The governor Sindh Saeeduz Zaman Siddiqui has lost his breath in a private hospital in Karachi after long illness while PM Nawaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over his death. Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani appointed as acting governor of Sindh. He was admitted in South City Hospital for one month and being treated chest congestion. Governor Sindh Justice (Rtd) Saeeduz Zaman Siddiqui has taken oath of his post on November 11, replacing Dr Ishartul Ebad, but he fell ill soon after and admitted in hospital for weeks. He was the 31th governor of Sindh and his tenure last just two months. He was born on Decmeber 1, 1937 in Lukhnu and got graduation degree in law in 1958. He severed as chief justice Sindh and as member of election commission and other posts. Siddiqui was among aspiring candidates for the post of president in 2003 and 2008. Prime Minister Nawaz Sahrif expressed deep sorrow and grief over his death and said his service for the country would not be forgotten. President Mamnoon Hussain, former President and co-chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari, chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto, PTI Chairman Imran Khan, JI chief Sirajul Haq and other leaders of political parties and prominent social personalities have also expressed sorrow over his death and eulogized his services.
