ATC orders confiscate sureties of Musharraf in judges detention case

Report  Web Desk : ISLAMABAD: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) ordered confiscating the surety bonds of former president Pervez Musharraf after he failed to appear before the court today in the case pertaining to judges detention. During the hearing of the case today Judge of the ATC Shahrukh Arjumand asked Mushrraf’s counsel Akhtar Shah and guarantor Capt (r) Nazeer, who appeared before the court, when they could present Musharraf before the court. On this Akhtar Shah advocate replied that Musharraf’s return back to Pakistan hangs of his doctors approval. Saying that if Musharraf fails to appear before the court his surety bonds would be confiscated the Judge of the ATC directing the guarantor of the former president to submit a written reply adjourned the hearing till October 27.
