Report  Web Desk : SRINAGAR: A complete shutdown is being observed in Indian-occupied Kashmir today (Saturday) against the Indian plans to abrogate Article 35A of Indian Constitution. Apart from expressing anger towards Indian bid to convert the Muslim majority into a minority of the valley, the protest is being staged against the continued killing of Kashmiris at the hands of Indian forces. The call for strike was given by Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. According to Kashmir Media Service, all shops, business establishments and educational institutions are closed while traffic is off the road. The University of Kashmir (KU) and Board of School Education (BOSE) have postponed all the examinations scheduled to be held today. (01)
