Cop dies, three injured in Karachi road mishap

KARACHI: 20, DECEMBER, 2021: One cop dead while three other officials were seriously wounded in a collision between a police mobile and a trailer in Karachi on late Sunday night.
According to details, the road crash took place in Mawach Goth area of Karachi where a trailer collided with a police mobile, as a result of collision ASI of police died on the spot and three other officials were critically injured.
Eye-witnesses said, the accident happened due to over-speeding.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and moved the dead and injured to hospital.
Earlier, on December 16, at least three people were dead in a collision between motorcycle and a car in Karachi on Thursday.
As per details, the accident took place at Superhighway near Myanmar Morr in Gulshan-e-Myanmar, area of Karachi where an over-speeding car hit a bike, killing at least three people.
After being informed, rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. (04)
