Corona pandemic: Cases pass 266 million, deaths reach 5,270,938

WASHINGTON: 06, DECEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 cases worldwide crossed 266 million (266,127,241) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,270,938 lives worldwide so far and 239,757,102 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 49,969,856 and the total number of deaths has reached 808,763.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,641,561 cases with 473,537 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,143,091 patients and 615,674 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 10,464,389 and death toll rose to 145,605.
In Russia, 9,801,613 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 281,278.
Turkey reported 8,901,117 cases so far while death toll jumped to 77,830.
The coronavirus has infected 7,917,264 people in France and left 119,535 dead.
Germany registered 6,179,839 patients with 103,604 deaths.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,134,465 and 130,200 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,340,676 COVID-19 cases with 116,646 fatalities so far.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,202,958 with 88,159 deaths.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 134,195 in Italy while 5,109,082 infections recorded.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,081,064 and death toll crossed 128,780.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 143,867 with 4,257,685 people affected. (04)
