Coronavirus cases pass 270 million worldwide, death toll reaches 5,322,088

WASHINGTON: 13, DECEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 270 million (270,430,922) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,322,088 lives worldwide so far and 243,106,777 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 50,801,455 and the total number of deaths has reached 817,956.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,697,860 cases with 475,636 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,189,867 patients and 616,941 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 10,819,515 and death toll rose to 146,439.
In Russia, 10,016,896 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 289,483.
Turkey reported 9,040,179 cases so far while death toll jumped to 79,151.
The coronavirus has infected 8,258,692 people in France and left 120,431 dead.
Germany registered 6,530,912 patients with 106,331 deaths.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,154,813 and 130,722 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,358,455 COVID-19 cases with 116,771 fatalities so far.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,290,190 with 88,381 deaths.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 134,831 in Italy while 5,225,517 infections recorded.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,093,534 and death toll crossed 129,107.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 143,936 with 4,259,143 people affected. (04)
