LONDON: 30, DECEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 284 million (284,939,444) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,438,948 lives worldwide so far and 252,602,844 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 54,656,866 and the total number of deaths has reached 844,272.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,822,040 cases with 480,860 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,263,834 patients and 618,870 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 12,559,926 and death toll rose to 148,089.
In Russia, 10,458,271 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 307,022.
The coronavirus has infected 9,534,357 people in France and left 123,372 dead.
Turkey reported 9,402,083 cases so far while death toll jumped to 82,059.
Germany registered 7,101,162 patients with 112,133 deaths.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,190,762 and 131,527 have been died.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 6,133,057 with 89,331 deaths.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 137,091 in Italy while 5,854,428 infections recorded.
Argentina recorded 5,556,239 COVID-19 cases with 117,111 fatalities so far.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,138,603 and death toll crossed 129,866.
