LONDON: 17, JANUARY, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 328 million (328,844,451) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,557,893 lives worldwide so far and 267,726,222 patients have been recuperated.

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 66,995,533 and the total number of deaths has reached 873,564.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 37,380,253 cases with 486,482 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 23,006,952 patients and 621,099 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 15,217,280 and death toll rose to 151,987.
The coronavirus has infected 14,172,384 people in France and left 126,967 dead.
In Russia, 10,803,534 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 321,320.
Turkey reported 10,457,164 cases so far while death toll jumped to 84,758.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 141,104 in Italy while 8,706,915 infections recorded.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 8,093,036 with 90,759 deaths.
Germany registered 7,991,432 patients with 116,268 deaths.
Argentina recorded 7,094,865 COVID-19 cases with 118,040 fatalities so far.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,221,033 and 132,075 have been died.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,543,796 and death toll crossed 130,996.
