Covid-19 cases cross 320 million worldwide, deaths exceed 5,539,420

LONDON: 14, JANUARY, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 320 million (320,988,372) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,539,420 lives worldwide so far and 264,126,097 patients have been recuperated.

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 65,236,475 and the total number of deaths has reached 869,212.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 36,582,129 cases with 485,350 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,815,827 patients and 620,609 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 14,667,817 and death toll rose to 151,342.
The coronavirus has infected 13,240,304 people in France and left 126,530 dead.
In Russia, 10,723,305 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 319,172.
Turkey reported 10,271,240 cases so far while death toll jumped to 84,278.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 140,188 in Italy while 8,155,645 infections recorded.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 7,930,528 with 90,620 deaths.
Germany registered 7,805,149 patients with 115,866 deaths.
Argentina recorded 6,793,119 COVID-19 cases with 117,808 fatalities so far.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,214,781 and 132,002 have been died.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,440,981 and death toll crossed 130,625.
