LONDON: 20, NOVEMBER, 2021: The Covid-19 infections worldwide passed 256 million (256,965,984) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,155,607 lives worldwide so far and 231,995,277 patients have been recuperated.

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 48,521,596 and the total number of deaths has reached 791,098.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 34,499,925 cases with 465,349 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,003,317 patients and 612,411 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 9,766,153 and death toll rose to 143,716.
In Russia, 9,257,068 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 261,589.
Turkey reported 8,527,030 cases so far while death toll jumped to 74,646.
The coronavirus has infected 7,372,544 people in France and left 118,423 dead.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,069,559 and 128,734 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,313,607 COVID-19 cases with 116,360 fatalities so far.
Germany registered 5,293,087 patients with 99,399 deaths.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 5,080,663 with 87,810 deaths.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,042,822 and death toll crossed 128,013.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 133,082 in Italy while 4,904,441 infections recorded.
