LONDON: 06, JANUARY, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 298 million (298,303,976) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,482,492 lives worldwide so far and 256,874,011 patients have been recuperated.
Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:
The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 58,805,186 and the total number of deaths has reached 853,612.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 35,109,286 cases with 482,876 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 22,351,104 patients and 619,559 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 13,835,334 and death toll rose to 149,284.
The coronavirus has infected 10,921,757 people in France and left 124,809 dead.
In Russia, 10,585,984 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 313,015.
Turkey reported 9,718,861 cases so far while death toll jumped to 83,075.
Germany registered 7,342,216 patients with 113,902 deaths.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 6,922,466 with 89,837 deaths.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 138,276 in Italy while 6,756,035 infections recorded.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,201,467 and 131,778 have been died.
Argentina recorded 5,915,695 COVID-19 cases with 117,346 fatalities so far.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,219,633 and death toll crossed 130,140.
The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 144,109 with 4,264,136 people affected. (04)
