LONDON: 18, JANUARY, 2022: The Covid-19 cases worldwide passed 331 million (331,604,501) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 5,564,058 lives worldwide so far and 269,159,925 patients have been recuperated.

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 67,631,191 and the total number of deaths has reached 874,321.
India, the second hardest-hit country reported 37,618,271 cases with 486,784 deaths.
Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 23,083,297 patients and 621,261 deaths.
In UK, the virus infections reached 15,305,410 and death toll rose to 152,075.
The coronavirus has infected 14,274,528 people in France and left 127,263 dead.
In Russia, 10,834,260 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 321,990.
Turkey reported 10,522,099 cases so far while death toll jumped to 84,920.
The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 141,391 in Italy while 8,790,302 infections recorded.
Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 8,424,503 with 90,993 deaths.
Germany registered 8,045,348 patients with 116,411 deaths.
Argentina recorded 7,197,323 COVID-19 cases with 118,231 fatalities so far.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 6,224,196 and 132,095 have been died.
The number of cases in Colombia surged 5,568,068 and death toll crossed 131,130.
