Fatalities from Covid-19 exceed 4,822,794 worldwide

WASHINGTON: 05, OCTOBER, 2021: The number of coronavirus infections worldwide has crossed 236 million (236,169,511) according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 4,822,794 lives worldwide so far and 213,236,982 patients have been recuperated.

Here the actual figure of coronavirus cases and deaths of top 15 affected countries:

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 44,679,603 and the total number of deaths has reached 722,260. 

India, the second hardest-hit country reported 33,853,048 cases with 449,283 deaths.

Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 21,478,546 patients and 598,185 deaths.

In UK, the virus infections reached 7,934,936 and death toll rose to 136,986.

In Russia, 7,612,317 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 210,801.

Turkey reported 7,267,077 cases so far while death toll jumped to 64,909.

The coronavirus has infected 7,028,197 people in France and left 116,848 dead.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 5,638,735 and 121,347 have been died.

Argentina recorded 5,260,719 COVID-19 cases with 115,283 fatalities so far.

Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 4,965,399 with 86,527 deaths.

The number of cases in Colombia surged 4,963,243 and death toll crossed 126,425.

The total figure of fatalities due to coronavirus reached 131,068 in Italy while 4,683,646 infections recorded.

Germany registered 4,264,982 patients with 94,342 deaths.

The death toll from Coronavirus in Indonesia has risen nearly 142,261, with 4,220,206 people affected.

On the other hand, Mexico reported 3,684,242 cases so far with 279,104 fatalities. (04)
