Iran fires mortar shell across Pakistan border

Report  Web desk : Quetta: Iranian forces fired a mortar shell across the border into Balochistan Panjgur district on Monday, a member of the local administration said. District administration told that the mortar shell that was hit border area Prom, however no loss of life was reported. On May 27, Iranian forces had fired four mortar shells across the border into Balochistan Panjgur district. Deputy Commissioner Panjgur Habibur Rehman told media that Iranian forces fired four mortar shells into Panjgur Parom area ‘without any justification and provocation’. “We have not received any report about any human loss”, he added. Security was tightened in the province in the aftermath of the shelling. More security personnel have been sent into the area to guard the border, the deputy commissioner said. 02
