KSE-100 Index loses 365 points

Report  Web Desk : KARACHI: Bear prevailed at Pakistan Stock Exchange as benchmark KSE-100 index lost some 706 points to reach the 44,582-points level by mid day. The market resumed trading on first trading day of the week in the negative. By mid-day the KSE-100 index lost 706 point to dip to 44582 points level from 45,634 points level closed on last trading day. Experts said in the face of political headwinds, investors are treading cautiously and trimming their portfolios. During last Friday index had closed at 45,634.02 with a loss of loss of 365 points (0.79 per cent). Ahsan Mehanti of Arif Habib Corp said the pressure remained on scrips across the board amid concerns for foreign outflows and prevailing political uncertainty. (01)
