Labourer dead as roof of under-construction building in Kasur caves in

KASUR: 17, JANUARY, 2022: One labourer was dead while another was critically injured when roof of an under-construction building fell near Kasur on Sunday night.
According to details, the under-construction building in Village Kot Wasan Singh near Kasur collapsed when labourer were busy in their work, burying two labourers under the debris.
After getting information about the incident, police and rescue teams rushed at the location.
They retrieved the dead body and pulled out another labourer in injured condition.
The dead and injured were moved to hospital.
As per sources, the deceased was identified as 28-year-old Abdur Rehman while 23-year-old Shoaib was wounded in the incident.
Earlier, on January 14, a teenage girl lost her life when roof of a house fell owing to recent heavy rains in Mardan in the wee hours of Friday.
As per details, the roof of a dilapidated house located in Subedar Qaley area near Mardan collapsed, burying a girl and two women under the debris.
After being informed, the rescue teams reached at the location and retrieved dead body of a 16-year-old girl and pulled out two women in injured condition from the rubble.
The dead and injured were moved to hospital. (04)
