Pakistan registers 10 deaths, 475 cases in 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: 30, NOVEMBER, 2021: Coronavirus cases tally in the country has surged 1,284,840 on Tuesday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 475 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 1.1 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 475,616 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 443,094, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 179,995, in Balochistan 33,479 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 107,689, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 10,411 while 34,556 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 28,728 deaths so far, after 10 fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 13,023 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 7,621 in Sindh, 5,842 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 360 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 954 deaths and AJK recorded 742 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 21,985,775, corona tests and 42,577 in last 24 hours and 1,242,236 patients have recovered.
Reportedly, 460,357 patients have been recovered in Sindh, 424,888 in Punjab, 173,463 in KP, 33,066 in Balochistan, 106,463 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 10,219 in Gilgit-Baltistan while in AJK 33,780 patients have been completely recovered across Pakistan whereas 905 patients are in critical condition.
