Pakistan reports 176 Covid-19 cases with nine deaths in a day

ISLAMABAD: 29, NOVEMBER, 2021: Coronavirus cases tally in the country has climbed to 1,284,365 on Monday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 176 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 0.59 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 475,285 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 443,014, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 179,961, in Balochistan 33,479 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 107,661, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 10,411 while 34,554 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 28,718 deaths so far, after nine fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 13,019 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 7,621 in Sindh, 5,838 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 359 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 953 deaths and AJK recorded 742 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 21,913,668, corona tests and 29,530 in last 24 hours and 1,241,761 patients have recovered.
Reportedly, 460,218 patients have been recovered in Sindh, 424,832 in Punjab, 173,372 in KP, 33,063 in Balochistan, 106,434 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 10,213 in Gilgit-Baltistan while in AJK 33,777 patients have been completely recovered across Pakistan whereas 923 patients are in critical condition.
