SABS organizes talk to encourage graduates to apply for art residency

JAMSHORO: 01, DECEMBER, 2021: (Report By: Ali Murad Chandio): Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages Jamshoro organized one day talk to encourages students and graduates to apply for art residency to flourish their creative skills.
A Karachi based artist association VASL was invited to aware students regarding their objectives and art residency procedure.
The representatives of VASL Anosha Zia, Maria Hassan, Sakshi Kumar and graduate of National College of Art Lahore Sadequain gave presentation and informed students regarding advantages of art residency, its procedure, shared contacts, CV making and preparation of proposals.
They told that art residency is a platform where different artists sit together and share ideas regarding their creativities and such activity lasts for 15 to 20 days.
Coordinators from SABS Abdul Malik Channa and Kashif Shahzad encouraged students to apply for residency as they may flourish their artistic skills.
In the end the officials of VASL presented their souvenirs to Vice-chancellor SABS Prof. Dr. Bhai Khan Shar. (04)
