SC to take up Hudaibiya case if NAB fails to complete probe: Sheikh Rasheed

Report  Web Desk : ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rasheed on Thursday has said that Supreme Court (SC) will take up the Hudaibiya Bill case if National Accountability Bureau (NAB) fails to complete investigation. Talking to media, Sheikh Rasheed said that at first, his case was against one person but now, the entire family is corrupt. I can’t back off from Hudaibiya Bill case, he added. AML chief told that Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khurshid Shah has met Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and discussed the matter of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman’s appointment. On the other hand, Khurshid Shah said that the current NAB chairman is controversial from the day one. He said talks with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) are underway in this regard. Shah continued that the past of new chief should be cleared from politics and that no one would find any way to malign him. (01)
