SU finalizes preparations of Pre Entry Test of Masters Program

Report  Ali Murad Chandio : JAMSHORO: A high-profile meeting chaired by SU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat has decided to ban admittance of unrelated individuals in the examination centers during pre-entry test for admissions to Master Degree Programs 2018 scheduled for October 15, 2017. The forum reviewed arrangements necessary for smooth and successful conduct of the test. The conveners of various committees, already constituted to this effect, presented the status of preparedness of their respective work for the upcoming important event. The meeting resolved that individuals including faculty, officers and employees who did not, by virtue of their assignment, relate to the context their not be allowed either to enter the examination centers or to unnecessarily flank Vice-Chancellor to the given premises. The house resolved to ensure that those assigned invigilation duties must inform authorities if any on the persons related to them through blood, were to take test, so that they be exempted from such duties in the interest of transparency, fairness and good conduct. On the other hand, in another meeting convened to resolve space deficit issue in the building of Faculty of Arts constituted a committee to examine semester time table of various departments/ institutes, assess available classroom spaces and formulae recommendations to re-allocate available spaces judiciously and on merit. 02
