Seven more succumb to Covid-19 in Pakistan, bringing death toll to 28,704

ISLAMABAD: 27, NOVEMBER, 2021: Coronavirus cases tally in the country has mounted to 1,283,886 on Saturday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 411 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 0.92 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 475,097 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 442,876, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 179,888, in Balochistan 33,471 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 107,601, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 10,411 while 34,542 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 28,704 deaths so far, after seven fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 13,015 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 7,620 in Sindh, 5,830 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 359 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 952 deaths and AJK recorded 742 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 21,876,689, corona tests and 44,589 in last 24 hours and 1,241,589 patients have recovered whereas 935 patients are in critical condition. (04)
