PTI Chief Imran Khan talking to media at Islamabad

Report  Web Desk : Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said the entire Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is busy trying to save one family instead of parting ways with it. Addressing media here after the party’s central executive committee meeting, Imran said that PML-N should have parted ways with Sharif family after the Panama case verdict and elected a new president. He questioned federally ruling party’s July 9 (Wednesday) rally from Islamabad to Lahore by recalling that protest rallies of PTI were branded derailment of democracy. “They are afraid of National Accountability Bureau…if they think they can escape from NAB by pressurising [institutions by taking out rallies] they are wrong,” the PTI chief said. Khan said that PTI was accused of derailing the democracy with its countrywide rallies whereas PML-N was not doing any different with its ‘GT Road rally’. He said that the entire nation was celebrating Nawaz Sharif’s ousting after the apex court’s order. Khan announced to rally in Rawalpindi on August 23 alongside Sheikh Rasheed, Awami Muslim League (AML) chief. He claimed that PML-N was deviating from its stance that it would accept the apex court order, be it in favour of the opposition. He said that PML-N forthcoming rally comes against the stance they had taken. Imran Khan said Article 6 of the Constitution should be applied on Nawaz Sharif for flaying the Panama case verdict by the Supreme Court. 02
