"Poll results ‘manipulated’ Rawalpindi commissioner

Rawalpindi: 17 Feb 2024: Liaquat Ali Chatha, the commissioner for Rawalpindi, made shocking allegations on Saturday, claiming that he was responsible for the "manipulation" of the general election results on February 8. In addition, he left his job.
"I am taking responsbility for all this wrongdoing," Chatha declared to reporters as she spoke outside the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. He claimed that a senior Supreme Court judge and the main election commissioner were "involved in this."
"We forced independent candidates to lose by using phony stamps, even though they had leads of 70,000–80,000 votes," he continued.
