11 more succumb to Covid-19 in Pakistan, 231 infected in 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: 13, NOVEMBER, 2021: Coronavirus cases tally in the country has jumped to 1,279,373 on Saturday after more infections were reported in different parts of the country.
According to the national database, 231 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in 24 hours whereas the positivity rate stands at 0.68 percent.
As per sources, cases in Sindh climbed to 473,081 the highest number so far in the country, while the confirmed infections tally in Punjab stood at 441,720, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cases jumped to 179,000, in Balochistan 33,391 cases reported, Islamabad Capital Territory covid-19 cases reached 107,275, Gilgit-Baltistan tally up to 10,400 while 34,506 cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, the country has recorded 28,595 deaths so far, after 11 fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours.
As per official data, Punjab recorded 12,972 deaths, a highest number as compared to any other province while 7,600 in Sindh, 5,790 deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 358 in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory has reported 948 deaths and AJK recorded 741 deaths.
According to the NCOC, Pakistan has so far carried out 21,352,792, corona tests and 33,862 in last 24 hours and 1,227,688 patients have recovered.
Reportedly, 451,811 patients have been recovered in Sindh, 421,242 in Punjab, 171,801 in KP, 32,909 in Balochistan, 106,010 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 10,195 in Gilgit-Baltistan while in AJK 33,720 patients have been completely recovered across Pakistan whereas 1,119 patients are in critical condition.
