12th death anniversary of renowned producer, director Nusrat Thakur today

LAHORE: 06, NOVEMBER, 2021: The 12th death anniversary of television producer, director and radio artiste Nusrat Thakur is being observed today (Saturday).
Thakur was born in Lahore in 1937, was the the son of M.J. Thakur, himself a well-known radio and TV artiste.
Nusrat Thakur's well known works include Ghulam Gardish, Piyas, tele-theatres Khwaish and Raat Rail aur Khat and others.
He joined television in the late '60s as duty officer. Later, he was appointed assistant producer.
Nasrut Thakur died on November 6 after a brief illness at the age of 72. (04)
