5 lives lost, 20 seriously hurt in road accident near Karachi

KARACHI: 29, SEPTEMBER, 2021: At least five persons lost their lives while 20 others were critically wounded in a collision between a bus and trailer near Karachi in the wee hours of Wednesday. 

According to details, the road crash took place at the Super Highway in Nooriabad area near Karachi where a passenger bus collided with a trailer, resulting five persons died on the spot and 20 others were seriously injured.

After being informed, rescue workers rushed at the location and moved the dead and injured to nearby hospital where the condition of several passengers is critical. 

The ill-fated bus was going to Hyderabad from Karachi.

Earlier, on September 8, at least two persons were dead in a collision between two vehicles in Karachi on late Tuesday night.

According to details, the road crash happened near Paracha Chowk in Sher Shah area where a motorbike was hit by another vehicle, as a result, two persons died on the spot.

On receiving information about the incident, rescue teams reached the spot and moved the dead bodies to Civil Hospital. (04)
