Adv Yousaf Laghari wrote to the Vice-chairman Pak Bar council about contrary decisions taken in his absence

Hyderabad: 22 January 2022: Advocate Yousaf Laghari member of the Pakistan Bar Council officially wrote to the Vice Chairman of Pakistan Bar Council, about the legal matters that were fishy, and the steps were taken abruptly for that all made those things more suspicious.
Advocate Yousaf Laghari referred to the press release, his words were" Pakistan Bar Council has resolved to write a letter to Honorable Chief Justice Supreme court of Pakistan requested him to decide the petition pending against Advocate Ahmed Ali Shaikh CJ of Sindh High court, till the decision of the petition he shall not be elevated to Supreme Court.
He said that this decision is contrary to the stand taken by Pakistan Bar Council, Sindh Bar Council, and high court Bar Association wheres they have demanded the elevation of Advocate Ahmed Ali sheik as Judge of Supreme Court being a senior Judge.
Not only this but this press release is contrary to the decision taken in the meeting of the Pakistan Bar Council held on 24 November 2021.
Further Advocate Yousaf Lghari wrote that in the 21 January 2022 meeting agenda there was no such thing included.
Advocate Yousaf laghari further elaborated that he was on leave, and in his absence, the issue was considered and passed the resolution to write the letter to the Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan which is against the rules and business of the Pakistan Bar council.Moreover, other important points were also mentioned.
