Aleem likely to meet PM Imran: sources

ISLAMABAD: 08, MARCH, 2022: Ex-Senior Minister of Punjab Assembly Abdul Aleem Khan who recently joint Jahangir Tareen group, is likely to meet Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Earlier today, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) on Tuesday has rejected Ex-Senior Minister of Punjab Assembly Abdul Aleem Khan's nomination for the post of Chief Minister of Punjab.
As per sources, it is better that Usman Buzdar stays CM of Punjab if Aleem Khan the second option the PML-Q leadership said.
Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership held a meeting with Minister for water resources Moonis Elahi and Minister for Housing Tariq Bashir Cheema, sources added.
New strategies to adopt according to the matters of changing the Chief Minister of Punjab were discussed, sources further revealed.

On the other hand, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail on Tuesday said that Aleem Khan, Jahangir Tareen and others are asset of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).
Ismail, who has been tasked by PM Imran Khan to address concerns of the disgruntled members of the party, said that he hopes matters will be resolved today.
All disgruntled members still love the party and it's normal to have reservations on some issues, he added. (04)
