Lahore: 17 July 2022: All, almost all forces of status quo are arrayed against one man, Imran Khan.
They include 13 parties of various persuasions, centre, right, and left. Nationalist, subnationalist, and a significant segment of regressive Moulvis are a part of this camp. Judiciary, over 25 media houses, and the out of step, divorced from reality, establishment are equally adversarial to IK. Not to forget, the US pioneered the regime change in Pakistan in last April. This indicates that IK must be damned right in what he stands for - against the fascist forces, both overseas, and their local agents.
IK’s campaign against a cabal of vested interest is not one of power, money or other worldly inducements. it is one against corruption, and those who looted this resource-rich country in the course of their combined misrule of over 35 years. Pakistan has risen up to the challenge.
