ISLAMABAD: 25, FEBRUARY, 2021: Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood on Thursday said that all schools will resume regular 5-day classes from Monday March 1. 

In his tweet, the Education Minister announced that "All schools will go back to regular 5 day classes from Monday March 1. Restrictions imposed in some major cities on schools to conduct staggered classes was only till Feb 28." 

Mehmood also emphasized that the announcement applies to every educational institutions in the designated cities where restrictions had been imposed by the government to control the COVID-19 spread. 

Remember that, due to the coronavirus pandemic, all educational institutions across the country were closed on March 15 last year. However, all educational institutes were closed in Sindh after the first case came to light on February 25. (04)
