Bahrain to introduce tougher restrictions as COVID-19 cases rise

LONDON: 06, FEBRUARY, 2021: Bahrain will introduce tougher restrictions to control the coronavirus spread from Sunday after an increase in active infections of the deadly virus, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported on Saturday.
According to the new restrictions, government firms and institutions will allow a maximum of 70 percent of employees to work from home whereas indoor gyms, sports halls, indoor exrecise classes and swimming pools will be temporarily closed while a maximum of 30 people will be allowed to participate in outdoor exercise organised by gyms.
The new stricter measures will remain in force until February 21.
