Bahraini ministerial delegation to visit Israel next week

According to sources, Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani will meet senior Israeli officials in Jerusalem during the official visit and will discuss bilateral relations in the fields of industry, trade and tourism, with an exchange of experiences.
It is pertinent to mention here that, it will be the second visit of an official Bahraini delegation to Israel after the UAE and Bahrain inked deals to establish formal ties with Israel.
On September 11, after the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain also decided to recognize Israel. According to media reports, US President Donald Trump said that Bahrain is the second Arab country to recognize Israel.
He tweeted out the news after he spoke via phone to Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the White House said.
A joint statement released by the three leaders stated that the two nations had agreed on "establishment of full diplomatic relations between Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain."
"This is a historic breakthrough to further peace in the Middle East. Opening direct dialogue and ties between these two dynamic societies and advanced economies will continue the positive transformation of the Middle East and increase stability, security, and prosperity in the region," the statement reads.
Netanyahu hailed the agreement as marking a "new era of peace."
Trump said two of our best friends, Israel and Bahrain, have agreed to a peace deal. It should be noted that a historic peace agreement was signed between Israel and the United Arab Emirates last month.
After which, diplomatic relations between the two important countries of the Middle East will return to normal.
According to reports, US President Donald Trump played the role of mediator in brokering a peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
According to international media reports, under the agreement, Israel will relinquish its claim to the Palestinian territories in the West Bank that it wanted to annex. Media reports said, the peace deal was made possible after lengthy negotiations between Israel, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
It should be noted that the United Arab Emirates became the third Gulf Arab country to establish diplomatic relations with Israel.
It is pertinent to mention here that, earlier, Bahrain said it would allow flight operations between Israel and the UAE to use its airspace. (04)
