Quetta: 8 October 2022: Baluchistan government raises upper age limit for government jobs to 43 years. This step is laudable and really appreciated taking in consideration the massive unemployment in the province. Moreover, there is no practical sense in this age limit rule, if a person is fit to perform his duty based on other merits, age is just a number.
In my opinion number of 3 chances for applying to any government job as well as upper age caps to government job application should be abolished. Baluchistan government has taken a good initiative, hope so that practice will be replicated by other provincial and federal governments as well, especially for CSS, PMS and PCS.
