CNG stations across Sindh closed for 24 hours

KARACHI: 04, DECEMBER, 2020: The Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations across Sindh will remain closed for 24 hours.
Officials said the decision has been taken owing to the shortage of gas in the system, adding that they were facing difficulties to meet the gas demand of domestic consumers and the commercial sector.
Complaints of reduction in gas pressure in Korangi, Site North Karachi and Superhighway were recorded. Gas suspension continues in Lyari Jahanabad, Eido Lane, Nawa Lane and Chakiwara areas. Gas cut-off also continues in Baldia Saeedabad, 24 markets and adjoining areas of Karachi.
Areas of Orangi Town, Dua choak, Laiqabad, Ardungar town have been affected due to gas cut off while gas blockade continues in Sector 11 and Sector 9 areas.
Complaints of gas suspension are also being made in several areas in Manghopir, Banaras and Site areas. Gas supply also affected in Quaidabad, Gulshan-e-Bunir, Landhi 89, Landhi 4 and Korangi Dhai. (04)
