SIBI: 05, APRIL, 2021: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have killed one terrorist and arrested four others in an encounter in Sibi on Sunday night.

According to details, CTD carried out an operation in Bakhtiarabad Korih area of District Sibi, Balochistan province during which the terrorists hiing in the area opened fire at the raiding party. 

In a retaliatory fire by the security forces, one terrorist was killed and four others were arrested.

CTD spokesperson said, explosive material and weapons were also recovered from the hideout of the terrorists. 

Last year in November, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan police and Frontier Corps (FC) on Saturday claimed to have arrested three alleged terrorists in joint operation in Khuzdar.

According to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) spokesperson, three of the alleged terrorists belonging to Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) were apprehended during an operation in Khuzdar, while three of their accomplices managed to escape from the scene.

CTD spokesperson added that a Kalashnikov, 25kg of explosives, remote control devices were also recovered from the possession of the arrested terrorists. (04)
