China-Pakistan Industrial Expo 2021 to start from Oct 29

LAHORE: 26, OCTOBER, 2021: The 5th edition of the Pakistan Industrial Expo named as "China-Pakistan Industrial Expo 2021" will be started from October 29 to 31 at the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club.
According to sources, the event will be attended by more than 100 top Chinese manufacturers, displaying mainly CNC machinery, construction, renewable energy, building material, agricultural machinery, hardware, chemicals and auto parts.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is taking part for the first time-ever in any exhibition in Pakistan.
Both "online and offline" methods will be used while the product will be placed at the booths, whereas a B2B meeting will be organized through especially installed gadgets and assistant.
Chris Zhu, deputy general manager of Everest International Expo said "We used online-offline mode in 2020, and it worked remarkably. After many successful stories, now we can easily manage and establish high quality B2B platform to boost mutual economic and trade communications. Every visitor will enter through the sanitization gate. Visitors flow will also be limited according to the SOPs."
Earlier, on October, 15, the 35th Lifestyle Furniture Exhibition was held in Karachi where Sindh Governor Imran Ismail inaugurated the three-day exhibition in two halls of the Karachi Expo Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor said "Our furniture industry has developed significantly, compared with the past. [The] PTI government is striving to address the basic problems of the industrial sector on priority." "Traditional Pakistani furniture designs with purling and engraving was in high demand in the world, while the furniture makers had also mastered in new and simple designs," he added.
He praised the event organizers for holding such a great exhibition in the tough situation due to pandemic. Ismail said "It is our responsibility to give our 100 per cent for the development and betterment of Karachi, which is the economical hub of the country."
On the occasion, Governor was apprised by Lifestyle Furniture Exhibition director Zara Faisal about the exhibitions held across the country, saying "We are trying to promote locally-manufactured furniture. We are holding this high-level event with the cooperation of [the] federal and provincial governments to introduce big brands of furniture."
Sources informed that more than 50 exhibitors showcase their great works, while the exhibition attracted a large number of visitors with best deals and discount offers. (04)
