Cold, dry weather to prevail in most parts of country

ISLAMABAD: 22, NOVEMBER, 2021: Pakistan Meteorological Department on Monday has predicted mainly cold and dry weather in most parts of the country during the next 12 hours while fog and smog is likely to blanket plain areas of Punjab during morning hours.
As per Met Office, light rain and snowfall over the hills is likely to hit isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan while cold and dry weather is expected in most other parts of the country.
Temperature of major cities recorded this morning: Five degree centigrade in capital, Peshawar seven, Lahore 11, Karachi 18, Quetta minus one, Gilgit minus two, Murree two and Muzaffarabad four degree centigrade. (04)
