Constitutional experts condemned unconstitutional acts of Deputy Speaker of illegally quashing the No Confidence Motion

Islamabad: 3 April 2022: Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Khan Jalbani Vice Chairman and Mr. Inayatullah Morio Chairman Executive Committee Sindh Bar Council strongly condemn the unconstitutional acts of Deputy Speaker of illegally and unlawfully quashing the No Confidence Motion against the Prime Minister by the opposition, suspending the session of National Assembly, followed by the unconstitutional illegal act of dissolution of National Assembly on the illegal unconstitutional advise of the Prime Minister, by the President of Pakistan. The Sindh Bar Council terms the said actions of Deputy Speaker, Prime Minister & President, as "High treason", Under Article 6 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The Sindh Bar Council make humble demand from the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take immediate notice of the situation & save Pakistan from another constitutional disaster.
